| La Guinguette has opened on the marina at Port de Plaisance (in the old Dario's location), but you do not need a mega-yacht to sample some of the fine food that those anchored off the terrace enjoy nightly. The facilities are open to the public and have ample parking. Use the main entrance off Union Road and follow the signs to the Hotel Lobby. Park in the nearby lot and you'll find us a short walk away, just behind the lobby, next to the marina. |

| Elena runs the front of the restaurant which includes a lovely dining terrace next to the bar. The open air terrace provides excellent views of the marina and all the yachts. (In French, a guinguette is an open-air bar or restaurant). Next to the terrace is an air-conditioned dining room. It is also available for private parties (it makes an excellent room for a small wedding reception), seminars, meetings, or wine tasting. |
| The kitchen sends out fine French cuisine, featuring appetizers of Lobster salad, Chicken with mushrooms, Salmon Tartar, Beef Carpaccio, Cod fish cake, Fried calamari, and delicious French onion soup and Lobster bisque. Appetizer prices range from $8 to $14. |

| We feature a $20 and $25 pre-fixed three course meal. The regular menu has pastas and main courses range from $14 to $24. Befitting an open-air restaurant on the water, there are many seafood courses including fillet of sole meuniere, lobster fricassé, sea scallops in a creamy leek sauce, sautéed shrimp in a spicy garlic sauce, mahi-mahi in an old grain mustard sauce, but there are also chops and steaks. The wine list has 25 different bottles from all over the world ranging from $18 to $85. Crisp whites such as Muscadet, Macon-Villages, or Chablis will complement the lobster and smoother chardonnays such as KJ Reserve Chardonnay will bring out all the flavor of the fine sauces that are available for the many seafood and chicken dishes. Try a light red, Burgundy or Beaujolais, with the chops and a Bordeaux with the steaks. There is always a wine of the month at a special price. |

Save room for the fabulous desserts. They include lovely tarts, crème brulée, soft chocolate cake, crêpes, chocolate mousse, and much more. |
| La Guinguette is open Monday through Saturday from 5:30 pm to 10:30. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
